I had a hard time trying to justify the expense of a videographer...I thought all I really needed was the photographer to take a few pictures of us and then maybe a video of the ceremony...I'm not super fancy and I didn't have the biggest budget...but I'm telling you, I'm so glad I hired David!! How could I have ever known how much we needed what David created for us!! There is so much that happens on your wedding day that you don't get to see - the groom getting ready, your family gathering, the groomsmen picking on your groom, things happening behind the scenes, things happening right in front of you that you're too busy to see....and of course, your groom doesn't get to see you doing any of those things either... There is so much emotion that isn't captured in pictures...I had two photographers who were EXCELLENT, truly AMAZING photographers, but there were still moments that David was able to capture that I didn't have in photos and having the video helps capture the emotion and a period of time, not just the snapshot. What he made for us is a cinematic marvel - I won't be able to do it justice in this review, but it's absolutely beautiful. The moments he captured, the story he tells through the way he edited pieces together, the close up shots I had no idea he was taking, the music he selected to help tell the story...I'm in awe of how beautiful everything looks. It's like Hollywood perfection that makes me bawl like a baby every time I watch it. So, if you're like me, you're on a budget and you think, "do I really need this?" YES! You don't know how much you really do!! Everyone tells you that your wedding will fly by...you will try and pause and take in the moments, but it's just a few hours and then it's over. Invest in your marriage and get the video, watch it on each anniversary, and use it to fall deeper in love every year. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ What I love about David: He did a fabulous job and worked under the radar. I was fearful that I was going to have to "recreate" shots for him and that it would take away from my day...he captured everything like a fly on the wall. Also, he was quite a trooper when I asked for edits (a few times) and he worked very quickly to change out a music selection or to add in more shots of our family portrait session. He was calm, kind, professional, and really did a fabulous job!! What I love about my video: ~35 min long, it begins with drone footage of our venue playing to a beautiful song that sets the mood. It moves to the two of us getting ready and captures the emotion of our nervous anticipation and excitement with beautifully edited pan and close up shots. He captures so much emotion in our first look. We look stiff in our photos being too careful trying not to mess up our outfits or my makeup, but he was able to capture our flirtation and reverence for one another. It includes my entire ceremony with my ceremony musician, the officiant and the groom all mic'd, so audio is captured well. We have all the toasts, cake cutting, first and parents dances - which were captured in true cinematic style, swirling around us to convey an emotional plateau at just the right moments (like catching me shed a tear dancing w/ my dad)- a super cool edit of our guests dancing at the reception & really great footage of our sparkler exit. Our Highlight video is about 6 min and contains simply the best elements of the above.

Hands down the best!!! I worked with David via email from my initial search. I did everything through email and I am so glad I made the decision to book him. My husband (fiance at the time) didn't understand the reason for a videographer and a photographer. He didn't want it. I booked it anyway and told him later!! He wasn't happy. But when we received the final result he was over the moon happy. He said I am so glad you got the videographer. Pictures are beautiful but it doesn't tell the story that the video does. David and his assistant, were so professional. They fit right in with everyone. They caught the best moments. Especially the moments that weren't supposed to be caught!!! I LOVE of video(s). I can't say enough about this experience. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Not only did our wedding videos (yes, there's more than one!) exceed our expectations, but David went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests and was so easy and great to work with. He was super responsive, and very professional. Our wedding footage is absolutely beautiful and he captured so many precious moments from our wedding day. David and his additional cameraman were also very discreet, which was great because we had no distractions and hardly realized the cameras were even there... yet the videos came out beautifully. I have absolutely no regrets about hiring David. He was a huge part of our day, quietly filming the small, sweet moments and all the big must-sees too. We LOVE our wedding videos! We've shared them countless times with family and friends, and they bring tears to our eyes every time. It's a time capsule of our favorite day with our favorite people, and I'm so grateful to have it captured so beautifully. I mainly wanted a videographer because of my nephew. He was just 15 months old at the time, and I wanted to capture the way he wobbles around with his chubby little feet and wild, curly hair everywhere. Our experience with David was an excellent one! He is a great videographer and an even better professional. The most important things for a videographer to have are good timing and good ideas. David is like a ninja. He comes and goes silently and, if you weren't paying attention, you would never know he was there. Aside from the big moments, there were times when I was joking around with my groomsmen and, from the corner of my eye, I could see David there getting all of it. It's candid moments like these that, at the time aren't necessarily very memorable, but definitely make a finished video shine. Whenever I looked around and thought "I wonder what this would look like from a third person view", David was there capturing it. During the times David makes his presence known, he offers many creative ideas. During cocktail hour, the bridesmaids and groomsmen took turns taking photos. While the bridesmaids were getting their photos taken, David did not stand idly by. After he captured some footage of them, he walked over and asked us to do several actions while he would walk around us capturing every moment. When it was the groomsmen's turn to take photos, I could see that he was doing the same for the bridesmaids, but with different actions. David is very dedicated to doing an excellent job. We were running behind schedule by almost an hour at the reception, yet David stayed the extra time to make sure that he captured all the big moments. Had he left at the moment the contract said he could leave, he would have missed the parent/child dance and cake cutting. However, he insisted on being there to capture it all. David is very professional and easy to communicate with. He personally worked with us to come to a price and plan that we all could be satisfied with. If you're still unsure of which videographer you want, let your hesitation stop here. You've found the right one.

Wow, David Salebe Films exceeded ALL expectations for our wedding video -- it is absolutely perfect!!! On the day of our wedding, David captures everything from getting ready to the sparkler sendoff and you barely even know he's there! We received our video about 3 months later and it is so surreal to relive our wedding -- literally could not have asked for anyone better or easier to work with. I couldn't be more pleased that we chose David to capture our wedding day! We did a video before our wedding day about how we met and our story. When I saw how well that turned out, I knew we had made the right choice. It was also a great way to get to meet David before the wedding day. He is friendly and clearly knows what he is doing, so it is very easy to work with him. Our wedding video turned out beautifully. The 15-20 minute edit is perfect for sharing with friends and family, and the longer highlights of each part of the day are a beautiful way for us to remember everything. He included all the perfect moments, and the quality of the video was so good, like a movie. Not grainy or shaky, the sound and video and lighting were totally perfect. Highly recommend!

David and his assistant were fantastic! They only gave direction when need be; otherwise, they blended in seamlessly with the crowd and made my husband and I feel so at ease. When we first started looking for a videographer we weren't sure if it was something we wanted to do because of how expensive it can be. Luckily we found David and we are so happy that we did. He was by far the most budget friendly videographer and the final product was extremely well done and of the highest quality! On our wedding night he stayed out of the way but he was able to capture all the highlights and best moments of our wedding night. He was great to work with and very responsive to his emails. I highly recommend David for anyone looking for a videographer! He's worth every penny! We are so happy we'll be able to relive our wedding night!
